At the Kathleen Grayson Ahmad Foundation, we are dedicated to our three legacy programs, which serve as the foundation of our mission:
Kat’s Kitchen combats food insecurity through pop-up kitchens and strategic partnerships, ensuring our community has access to nutritious meals.
The Healing Hearts Initiative offers support groups, care packages, and resource navigation for young families and families grieving infant and pregnancy loss—especially in Black communities.
Legacy Scholars Program provides scholarships for students heading to HBCUs and host workshops focused on financial literacy, empowering the next generation of leaders.
Together, these programs embody our commitment to uplifting and supporting those in need.
pop-up kitchen event
Kat’s Kitchen is preparing to launch our very first Pop-Up Kitchen event — details on date, time, and location coming soon.
Beginning in 2026, Kat’s Kitchen will expand to serve mobile meals and partner with local organizations to provide nourishment for unhoused individuals and food-insecure families in our community.
